L'Alternativa Parallel presents a wide range of original, unconventional films that give creativity a free rein. Now more than ever, these films offer a vital glimpse of different values and attitudes that refuse to toe the official line.

This year L'Alternativa Parallel comprises three sections that exemplify our idea of what the Festival is all about. 20 Years of l'Alternativa contains 22 feature films that give a flavour of the rich diversity of remarkable films we have screened over the last two decades.

Panorama presents 14 films that reflect the scope of outstanding independent films being made in Spain today outside the filmmaking industry.

Small Experiments aims to open children's eyes to the wonder of filmmaking from an all-embracing, creative perspective.
