Sinopsis
Gonzalo and Gina live in a world of their own in a magnificent villa on a sprawling estate near Mexico City. Barbed-wire fences keep the outside world far away. It’s their son, director Diego Gutiérrez, who tells their story: a portrait of how, after many years, a relationship between two people can turn from great love into strangling imprisonment. A bittersweet universal love story.
Bio/Filmo
Diego Gutiérrez (Mexico, 1966) is a visual artist and filmmaker who runs El Despacho, an artist-led initiative he set up in Mexico City. He studied visual arts at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. He has made a number of documentaries, including The Valley of the Dog Songs (2005) and The Carriage (2007).
