Sinopsis
El salvavidas follows a team of summer lifeguards on El Tabo beach in Chile who go about their job in very different ways and don’t necessarily get along. The film shows Chilean society played out on the beach and keenly observes the different ways people communicate, relate and resolve issues.
Bio/Filmo
Maite Alberdi studied at the Universidad Católica de Santiago and graduated in social communication, aesthetics and film. She made her directing debut with the short Los trapecistas (2005), followed by Las peluqueras (2007). She is currently working on her second feature film, La once.
