Wild Life is about the beauty of the untamed prairie, the pang of being homesick and the folly of living dangerously out of context.

Amanda Forbis and Wendy Tilby studied film and animation at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver. They made their own works with the NFB before codirecting When the Day Breaks (1999), which won Best Short Film at Cannes.
