Sinopsis
Essaouira, a small Moroccan town on the Atlantic coast, was the first sardine fishing port in the world. Today the fish have left its waters. Thousands of Moroccan fishermen from Essaouira, Safi and Agadir have had to move further south to Dakhla in the Sahara in the hope of catching some fish. Once there, a hellish struggle begins. At sea, trawlers from foreign countries drag the waters with their nets, killing an entire ecosystem. On land, desperate fishermen who've been robbed of their livelihood face the prospect of their own disappearance.
