Sinopsis: A day in the life of a small fishing cooperative on the White Sea. Different routine actions are interconnected in this tribute to simplicity, craftsmanship and the ritual of work. In long takes, a wide lens observes the absurd poetry of everyday life.

Bio: One of Russia's leading documentary filmmakers, Sergei Loznitsa (Belarus, 1964) has been documenting the changes taking place in his country since the collapse of the Soviet Union. His films include Portret (2002) and Fabrika (2004), both screened at previous editions of l'Alternativa.
