Muñoz RamírezSinopsis: Every day, in an inhospitable spot amongst the sandy marshes surrounded by the cool murmurings of the woods, a whole village devotes itself to protecting, guarding and worshipping the image of a virgin who is the beginning and end of their lives. La aldea perdida aims to untangle the interwoven feelings and passions in this unique relationship forged generation after generation and tempered over the centuries.
Bio: Manuel Jiménez Núñez graduated in communication sciences from the University of Málaga. La aldea perdida, his first feature-length documentary, won the IDFA Audience Award and was voted Best Spanish Film at this year's Documenta Madrid.
