We aim to get the Festival films out and about by taking them to spaces where they can be screened all year round.
Our goal is to increase access to independent films by preparing programmes of films to be screened in cultural centres, cinemas, festivals and universities.
Between 2006 and 2007, several selections of films from l'Alternativa travelled to Helsinki (Love and Anarchy), Shanghai (Suzhou Creek Art Gallery), Paris (Signes de nuit), Rome (RIFF), Milan (Milan Film Festival), Lisbon (IndieLisboa), Madrid (Documenta Madrid, La Enana Marrón), Saint Petersburg (Art Centre Bereg), Barcelona (CaixaForum), Cerbère (Rencontres Cinématographiques), Bogotá (Fundación Artehoy), and Medellín (Centro Colombo Americano), amongst others.
