Here’s a round-up of the Cannes line-up and the filmmakers who have previously screened work at l’Alternativa

Director’s Fortnight
Galician filmmaker Oliver Laxe, whose Paris # 1 was in the short film competition at l’Alternativa last year, presents his debut feature film Todos vós sodes capitáns.
Michelangelo Frammartino
, who screened his first feature film Il dono in competition at l’Alternativa 2004, presents his second film Le Quattro volte.
Katell Quillevéré, winner of short film prize at l’Alternativa in 2005 with A bras le corp, screens her debut feature film Un Poison violent.
Olivier Masset-Depasse, whose short film Dans l’ombre screened at l’Alternativa in 2004, screens his second feature film Illégal.

Un Certain Regard and International Competition
Ágnes Kocsis, whose first film Friss levegö won a prize at  l’Alternativa 2006, screens her second feature Pál Adrienn in Un Certain Regard.
Radu Muntean, director of The Paper will be Blue screened at l’Alternativa last year, presents his new film Tuesday, After Christmas in Un Certain Regard.
Cristi Puiu, director of The Death of Mr. Lăzărescu also screened at l’Alternativa last year, presents his new film Aurora in Un Certain Regard.
Sergei Loznitsa
, whose films Portrait (2002), Factory (2004) and Artel (2006) have all screened at previous editions of l’Alternativa, shows his latest film My Joy in the main competition at Cannes.
