Bal (Honey), Semih Kaplanoglu’s new film, has won the Golden Bear at the Berlinale. Two of his earlier feature films have previously screened at l’Alternativa. Yamurta (Egg) in 2008, and Melegin Duçuçu (Angel’s Fall), which won the feature film prize at l’Alternativa in 2005.
