Ariadna Dot
Ariadna Dot

Ariadna Dot has been a producer at Lastor Media since 2014, joining as a partner in 2022. She has collaborated with notable Catalan filmmakers such as Carla Simón (Alcarràs) and Clara Roquet (Libertad) and has produced acclaimed films including Polvo serán by Carlos Marques-Marcet (Toronto 2024, Platform Prize), Creatura by Elena Martín Gimeno (Cannes 2023, Europa Cinemas Award), and Suro by Mikel Gurrea (San Sebastián 2022, FIPRESCI Prize).

Miguel Ángel Blanca
Miguel Ángel Blanca

Miguel Ángel Blanca is a director, screenwriter and producer at Boogaloo Films. In 2022 he premiered as director and co-screenwriter of the series Autodefensa. His latest feature, Magaluf Ghost Town, which premiered at l’Alternativa in 2021, is a horror film rooted in the world of tourism. With Quiero lo eterno (2017) and Corre brilla luz luz (2018), he created two fables on teenage nihilism and apocalyptic fantasy.

David Ferragut
David Ferragut

David Ferragut is a researcher specialising in the relationship between philosophy and film (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and a lecturer in Film History and Theory and New Media Art. He has contributed to seminars at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and co-edited two books: Ensayos y errores. Arte, ciencia y filosofía en los videojuegos with Alfonso García-Lapeña (AnaitGames, 2019) and Lo que dura una película. Una antología sobre slow cinema with Iona Sharp-Casas (Laertes, 2023).

Jordi Sanz Angrill
Jordi Sanz Angrill

Jordi Sanz Angrill is a screenwriter, director and film editor. He directs the Festival u22 at the Fundació Joan Miró in Barcelona. As a filmmaker, he explores memory and recollection as mutable elements linked to spaces. He directed Germanes (2023), which premiered at the 26th Shanghai International Festival. He is currently in pre-production on the short film Simes (2025), winner of the first FICBUEU Residency, mentored by Isabel Peña.

Milagros Távara
Milagros Távara

Milagros Távara is a film producer and cultural manager with a degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and in Photography from the Centro de la Imagen (Lima, Peru). She completed her MA in Creative Documentary at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is a programmer for MUTA, International Festival of Audiovisual Appropriation, which she founded in 2017. She also produces FICVI, Vila-seca Short Film Festival, and serves as forum manager for DocsBarcelona Industry.

Gaston Core
Gaston Core

Gaston Core holds a BA in Playwriting and Directing from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona and an MA in Contemporary Philosophy from the University of Barcelona’s Faculty of Philosophy. He has worked closely with the European film producer Paco Poch. Between 2012 and 2021 he developed and directed Sala Hiroshima, a project focused on producing and showcasing innovative trends in international contemporary performance. Since 2021 he has presented his creations and choreography at leading performing arts festivals.

Ana Matilde Uslenghi
Ana Matilde Uslenghi

Ana Matilde Uslenghi is a cooperative member and critic. She has worked in the CCCB archive and been part of the editorial team for Sofilm España and the monthly magazine MK2. She has written for Transit, Visual404 and Númerocero and has contributed articles to the Sitges Festival’s catalogue and daily publication. She is a partner, communications coordinator and programming contributor at Zumzeig Cinecooperativa, where she also co-coordinates the International Cooperative Film Festival.

Alberto Richart
Alberto Richart

Alberto Richart is a writer and film critic. He studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Valencia and completed a master’s in Film and Contemporary Audiovisual Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He has served on the Youth Jury at the Sitges Festival and the Critics’ Jury at other events like Mecal and the Barcelona DE A Film Festival. He co-created the film podcast Moses Supposes and currently collaborates with various media, including El Confidencial and Rockdelux.

María Adell
María Adell

María Adell is a film critic, lecturer and researcher. She holds a PhD in Theory, Analysis and Cinematographic Documentation from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and teaches Film History and Spanish Cinema at ESCAC and in the Art History programme at the University of Barcelona. She writes film criticism for the daily Ara and the website Filmtopia and occasionally contributes to other media like Rockdelux. She has written articles and book chapters on female representation in film and television, Spanish cinema and popular culture.

Carolina Astudillo
Carolina Astudillo

Carolina Astudillo is a filmmaker, journalist, researcher and teacher. Her work focuses on research, documentary creation and writing, with women and historical memory as its central themes. Several of her documentaries have been awarded and shown at various festivals. Her first and second feature films, El gran vuelo and Ainhoa, yo no soy esa, won the Biznaga de Plata for Best Documentary at the Málaga Film Festival.

Efthymia Zymvragaki
Efthymia Zymvragaki

Efthymia Zymvragaki is a producer, director, screenwriter and cinematographer. She holds a master’s in Artistic Productions and Research from the University of Barcelona and trained as a photographer at the Institut d'Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya. She worked as a producer and co-director of photography on the documentary You Will Be a Man by Isabel de Ocampo and co-produced In loco parentis by Neasa Ni Chianáin and David Rane. Light Falls Vertical is her first feature.

María Monreal
María Monreal

María Monreal is a film director. Her debut feature documentary Con los ojos abiertos won Best Film at the Navarra International Film Festival. In 2019 she founded Cambur Producciones, through which she directed and produced the short film O, winner of Best Screenplay at the Cartagena International Film Festival. Cuando crece la hierba has been selected at over 90 festivals and has won awards, including Best Short Film at the Oldenburg Festival.

Julio Lamaña
Julio Lamaña

Julio Lamaña is a film club enthusiast, cultural manager and documentary filmmaker. A member of Cineclub Imagen Viajera (Bogotá) and the Barcelona Espai de Cinema, he collaborates with the Federació Catalana de Cineclubs. He served as executive producer and Audience Training Coordinator at the Bogotá International Documentary Exhibition in 2022 and 2023 and has coordinated the Audience area since 2024. He debuted as a documentary filmmaker in 2015, with his short films being screened at l’Alternativa. He is also part of the RECVision team at RECLab at the REC Festival in Tarragona.

William S. Mørch
William S. Mørch

William S. Mørch is deputy director of the Norwegian Federation of Film Clubs and head programmer of the Tromsø Film Club. He writes literary reviews and essays on various topics, including film. He also studies creative writing and is working on his first novel, after studying Comparative Literature and Germanic Studies. He has been actively involved in the film club movement since a young age and is currently completing his first documentary, which explores contemporary Scandinavian poetry.

Lourdes Feixa
Lourdes Feixa

Lourdes Feixa is an active participant in the Catalan film club movement, particularly interested in film dissemination and promotion. She has been involved with Cineclub Barcelona Espai de Cinema since its inception in 2003, where she has held various roles. She has contributed to organizing the Miradocs showcase, focused on documentary film, and Mirades de Cinema Jove. She has also served as a jury member for the collaborative section of the Catalan Federation of Film Clubs with the Americana Film Fest.

Ana David

Ana David is a programmer and film curator working between Berlin and Portugal. She has been an advisor for the official programme of the Berlinale since 2024, a member of the advisory board of Berlinale Panorama since 2017 and a programming advisor for Márgenes - Festival Internacional de Cine de Madrid.

Andrea Stavenhagen
Andrea Stavenhagen

Andrea Stavenhagen is coordinator of Morelia Pro at the Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), which has a professional focus on Mexican and Latin American cinema. She is part of the fiction feature selection committee for the Festival Biarritz Amérique Latine and is the coordinator of its professional platform, BAL-LAB.

David Montenegro
David Montenegro

David Montenegro holds a degree in cinematography from the Universidad Central and is currently pursuing a master’s in Visual Culture at the University of Lund, Sweden. He heads the Programming Coordination area of the FICCI.

Juan Pablo Franky

Juan Pablo Franky is a programming consultant for the Vancouver Latin American Film Festival (VLAFF), coordinator of Al este - Festival de Cine de Europa Central y Oriental (Colombia), publications coordinator for Cinemancia Festival de Cine Metropolitano (Medellín) and artistic director of the Muestra Internacional Documental de Bogotá (MIDBO).
