Synopsis

In 1970 the colonial town of Yungay, Peru, was buried under a landslide. It was rebuilt by survivors less than a mile away from its original site. Now, the once holy mountain El Huascarán speaks. Those who remember know that it should be listened to. A multifaceted film about human dignity and resilience.

The directors of this documentary short teamed up after working on the acclaimed short Laatash, directed by Elena Molina and produced by Raquel Calvo. Raquel Calvo is also a journalist and social communicator. Director and cinematographer Elena Molina specialises in documentaries. Her films include Quand j’étais petit, Le cimetière des marionnettes and the dcoumentary feature o el largometraje documental Rêve de Mousse.
