A look at the liturgy in a small Andalusian village through a kaleidoscope of images on celluloid film. Un viento roza tu puerta mixes traditional voices and songs from the past and present, oozing from the earth like dusty memories warning of a too easily forgotten violence.
Jorge Castrillo is an Andalusian filmmaker. His first shorts, Septiembre and Domingo, were screened at festivals in Spain and abroad. He did an MA in Creative Filmmaking at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola film school, where, tutored by director Oliver Laxe, he developed Un viento roza tu puerta. The film has been screened at several European festivals and was nominated for Best Documentary Short at the first edition of the Premios Carmen del Cine Andaluz.
