Synopsis

Things aren’t going well for 33-year-old Merche: life isn’t great, money is tight and she is in danger of losing her best friend. She spends more and more time at a job she hates and finds it increasingly difficult to break out of herself. But Merche is far too proud to say how she feels inside. And, truth be told, she feels completely hopeless.
Neus Ollé makes striking use of 16 mm film to create a 1970s look and texture that captures in keeping with how Merche feels.
