Synopsis

In 1977 a plane flying from Barcelona to Palma was hijacked for two days by Luciano Porcari, an Italian who seized the aircraft in an attempt to gain custody of his daughters, one of whom lived in Africa. Now, 45 years later, after being endlessly repeated, how credible is this surreal story today? What are memories actually made of? Is our mind able to distinguish fact from fiction? Does it make any sense to strive for objectivity?

Bio/Filmo

Carlota Bujosa Cortés (Mallorca) moved from Barcelona to Berlin, where she studied law, and then Madrid, where she studied editing and documentary filmmaking while working as a continuity supervisor. She now combines editing and teaching, while also  and serving as technical coordinator at the Unión de Cineastas. In 2019 she directed and produced Bubota, and in 2021 set up the production company Mansalva Films together with David Castro.
