Synopsis
Sixteen-year-old Tristan has French and Spanish roots. His quiet life with his mother, Blanca, in a town in Extremadura is thrown into question when he begins training as a bullfighter. La alternativa de Tristan tracks him from his teenage years to his debut as a professional matador, following his daily life, activities, doubts, fears and training.
Bio/Filmo
Jesús Lacorte (La Laguna, Tenerife) studied architecture at the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and did a postgraduate course in film archives at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola film school, where he developed the short Morir antes de morir. Founder and director of LACØRTE films, he has taken part in festivals and residencies such as Hemendik #2 in Bayonne, the 19th Human Rights Film Festival in Donostia and the Lanzarote International Film Festival.
