Synopsis
University student Ozan returns to his village on receiving the news that his grandmother has died. Once there, he begins to learn more about his father's past and work through some of his inner rage.
Bio/Filmo
Ahu Öztürk (1976, Turkey) graduated from Ege University with a degree in philosophy. She did an MA in film and television at Marmara University in 2002 and has since worked on a number of film projects. In 2004 she directed her first documentary, Chest, and 2010 participated in Tales from Kars at Festival on Wheels with her short Açık Yara, which has been screened at film festivals worldwide, including Rotterdam, Istanbul, Jerusalem, Sarajevo and Beirut. Her debut feature, Dust Cloth (2015), was selected for the 2016 Berlinale Forum.
