Treinta grados de separación

Mentoring projects

In 1989, José Luis and Luz María, a young couple living in Galicia with a young baby, get divorced. Thirty years later, in France, their daughter, Paula, decides to split from her partner of ten years, Joy. Made out of home videos shot over the last three decades, Treinta grados de separación examines two breakups at two different moments in time.

Paula Pérez López (Ourense, 1986) is mad about images. Fascinated by their multiple possibilities and formats since she was a child, she began exploring the world through the lens of her father's camcorder. She is still not sure whether she prefers watching films or making them.
