Synopsis
This is the story of thirtysomething film editor Amaya, who looks back over her personal video archive in a quest to work through a past betrayal in love. In doing so, and thanks to some judicious editing, she creates a new series of happy endings for her life.
Bio/Filmo
Amaya Villar Navascués graduated in audiovisual communication, did an MA in Editing and Postproduction (ICM) and won a scholarship to study at the EICTV, Cuba. The films she has cut have been screened at festivals such as La Berlinale, DocumentaMadrid and Cinéma du Réel, and in 2020 she cowrote and edited Monumental. Amaya was invited to take part in the 1st edition of the residency programme run by the Academia de Cine, where she worked on her debut feature, Contigo, contigo y sin mí.
