À Procura da Estrela

Synopsis

A sound ethnologist arrives in Serra da Estrela to record sounds in danger of dying out. However, he soon realises that tourism has silenced the past, leaving his project in limbo. One day, though, a mysterious melody leads him off into the mountains.

Bio/Filmo

Carlos Martínez-Peñalver Mas (Vigo, 1991) is a film director and editor. He graduated in audiovisual communication between the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and the Universitat Pompeu Fabra and wrote his thesis on cutting room emotions. He is currently working on postproduction for his debut feature, À Procura da Estrela.
