Synopsis
The African Quixote is a poet from Timbuctoo ready to do whatever it takes to save his family library, with roots stretching back to the mythical Al-Andalus, from being forgotten, ignored or threatened by religious fundamentalists.
Bio/Filmo
Ignacio G. Merlo is a writer, editor, producer and director of documentary and fiction films. Since 2001 he has made over a dozen audiovisual pieces, including four features that have been screened to critical acclaim at festivals worldwide and online. Since November 2019 he has been studying for a PhD in audiovisual anthropology at the University of Granada.
