Mi tío

Synopsis

Shot out in the wilds of the Mongolian steppes, Mi tío follows a biologist on his quixotic mission to catalogue the 12,000 lakes dotted across this vast terrain. The crew soon find that filmmaking and science are two very different worlds.

Bio/Filmo

Andrea Fernández makes and edits films. She has lived in Barcelona since 2005, although she slipped off to Lisbon for five years to study filmmaking. She edits documentary and fiction films and has had several of her own films screened at festivals worldwide, including Seminci in Valladlid, Doclisboa and Curtas Vila do Conde in Portugal. She has made several video essays for the Soy Cámara channel at the CCCB.
