Masterclass: Communication and Pitching Techniques

Online

This interactive masterclass by Fernanda Rossi is aimed at equipping the creators and producers of the projects selected to take part in the 8th Mentoring Projects and the VII GAC Pitching Forum with the tools to bring their projects to fruition.

Participants will receive valuable theoretical and practical input on how to publicly pitch a project and present it in meetings while losing none of their original creative zeal.

We shall break down different types of pitches, look at how to present visual material and examine different methods for creating pitches. We shall also analyse a series of opening and closing techniques that Fernanda has designed to spark interest from the very first seconds of an initial pitch to one-to-one meetings. In addition, we shall explore communication techniques to boost creative teamwork and optimise negotiations with producers.

Fernanda will back up her theoretical framework with real-life examples applied to the selected projects through practical exercises.
