Cíntia Gil
Cíntia Gil

Cintia Gil studied at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema in Lisbon and holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Porto, where she has also taught seminars on aesthetics. From 2012 to 2019 she served as codirector of Doclisboa and is currently director of Sheffield Doc/Fest. She is a member of the Portuguese Documentary Film Association (Apordoc) and has curated a number of contemporary and historical film series, retrospectives and exhibitions.

Sergi Moreno Castillo
Sergi Moreno Castillo

Sergi Moreno Castillo is a producer at Lastor Media and Vilaüt Films and teaches at Pompeu Fabra and Ramon Llull Universities. He has worked with the likes of Carlos Marques-Marcet, Clara Roquet, Lluís Galter, Elena Martín Gimeno, Mikel Gurrea, Mounia Akl, Marcel Barrena, Alba Cros, Laia Alabart, Marta Verheyen y Laura Rius, Marc Crehuet, Carla Simón, Agustí Villaronga and Isaki Lacuesta, among others.

Lucas Santos

Lucas Santos graduated in journalism from the Universitat Autònoma in Barcelona, where he works in the Communication Department. Since 2014 he has posted on his film blog Asa Nisi Masa. After writing about cinema for the online platform Sigue leyendo, he is now a regular contributor to Transit. Cine y otros desvíos.

María Palacios Cruz
María Palacios Cruz

María Palacios Cruz is a London-based film curator, writer and teacher. She is course leader for the Film Curating programme at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola and a programmer for the Punto de Vista (Pamplona) and Courtisane (Ghent) festivals. She has edited an anthology of writings by British artist Lis Rhodes (2019) and is the coeditor of a publication on the work of Ute Aurand, Helga Fanderl, Jeannette Muñoz and Renate Sami (2020).

Enric Ribes
Enric Ribes

Enric Ribes graduated in audiovisual communication in Barcelona. His shorts include Take Me to the Moon (2014), Glance Up (2014), The Peach Blossom Garden (2016) and Grey Key (2019), all screened and awarded prizes at festivals worldwide. He is currently working on his debut feature, Cantando en las azoteas, which won the Kinolux Prize at the 6th Mentoring Projects in 2018.

Liliana Díaz Castillo
Liliana Díaz Castillo

Liliana Díaz Castillo is a Colombian director, screenwriter and producer now based in Barcelona. A member of the La Selva Ecosistema Creatiu, she has led six international creative film symposiums given by Abbas Kiarostami, Werner Herzog and Lucrecia Martel, and produced over 200 short films, an accomplished for which she won the 2018 Werner Herzog Film Award.

Ylenia Cañadas
Ylenia Cañadas

Ylenia Cañadas is a programmer and head of communication at Fantboi Festival (Sant Boi de Llobregat) and a programmer at Craft Film Fest (Barcelona). She is also director of the “Mutacions cinèfiles” section of El cinèfil online magazine and is a regular contributor to a number of Spanish and international media outlets.

Marta Piñol Lloret
Marta Piñol Lloret

Marta Piñol Lloret holds a PhD in Art History from the University of Barcelona and teaches at the UB, ESCAC, UIC and UOC. Her books include Europa como refugio. Reflejos fílmicos de los diversos exilios españoles (1939-2016) (Edicions de la UB, 2020) and Con las maletas a otra parte. La emigración española hacia Europa en el cine (Sans Soleil Ediciones, 2020).

Arnau Vilaró
Arnau Vilaró

Arnau Vilaró holds a PhD in Communication from Pompeu Fabra University and teaches film studies at the ESCAC, UAB and UOC. He has held doctoral and postdoctoral positions at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 and the UNAM in Mexico. His books include La caricia del cine (2017). He combines teaching, film criticism and research with programming, writing and filmmaking.

Dakota Hone Gibbs

Dakota Hone Gibbs is president of the Canterbury Film Society (New Zealand), and member of the Management Committee for the New Zealand Federation of Film Societies. He actively advocates for programming that raises the visibility of a range of director’s voices and encourages audiences to watch films that stretch their conceptions of cinema.

Salvador Matas Borrut
Salvador Matas Borrut

Salvador Matas Borrut is a retired teacher and associate professor in French linguistics at Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona. He holds Master’s Degrees in Social and Community Sciences and eLearning. He was a councillor on Cambrils Town Council between 1996 and 2011 and is currently treasurer of the Cineclub ACTE in Cambrils.

Santosh Pathare
Santosh Pathare

Santosh Pathare studied journalism and mass communication at the University of Mumbai (India). He is assistant regional secretary of the Federation of Film Societies in India for the Western Region and secretary of Prabhat Chitra Mandal, a leading Indian film society. He is also a film critic and editor of Vaastaw Roopwani magazine. He produced the film The Tale of Natives.
