Bio/Filmo
María Cañas (Seville, 1972), aka The Archivist of Seville, has a degree in fine art and a PhD in Aesthetics and the History of Philosophy from the University of Seville. Her work, including Sé villana. La Sevilla del diablo (2013), La mano que trina (2015), EXPO LIO '92 (2017) and La cosa vuestra (2018) have been shown internationally. She was filmmaker in focus at l'Alternativa in 2014, where she also gave a masterclass.
