Synopsis

A journey through archive material to tell the story of the impossible transformations of Rome’s suburbs between 1948 and 2018. It weaves multiple voices, from official newsreels to militant cinema, into a political discourse on Italian past and present.

Bio/Filmo

Arianna Lodeserto (Puglia, 1981) graduated in aesthetics from the Sapienza Università di Roma and has a PhD in Contemporary Philosophy from the Université Paris-Sorbonne. She is currently a member of LIRA (Laboratoire International de Recherches en Arts). She also works as a photographer and film editor.
