Synopsis
At fifteen, Suzanne (a debut role for Sandrine Bonnaire) finds relief from her Parisian family through sexual escapades. In this celebrated character study, Pialat himself plays the role of her overbearing father and pulls off one of his greatest achievements, as well as giving us an insight into his particular cinematic approach to personal inner life and experience.
