Sinopsis
Fóra tells the story of Conxo asylum in Galicia through a series of documents, images and voices that trace its history from its early days to more-recent conflicts. These hidden stories reveal the importance of delving deeper into the social meaning of spaces that have been banished from urban memory.
Bio/Filmo
Pablo Cayuela is a filmmaker and editor who writes for Blogs&Docs and Lumière. He was director of photography for A cicatriz branca (2012). Xan Gómez Viñas is a journalist who researches amateur filmmaking in Galicia. He founded the Cineclube de Compostela, where they both programme films, and writes for A Trabe de Ouro and Blogs&Docs. Fóra is their first film as directors.
