Sinopsis
The domestic eccentricities of a family in a Berlin flat are choreographed into a surreal sequence of seemingly unspectacular scenes creating a wondrous world and a ballet of the everyday. Absurd existence glimmers from behind seemingly mundane actions and conversations, and so unfolds a family drama, a fairy tale and the psychological study of a mother.
Bio/Filmo
Ramon Zürcher (Aarberg, 1982) graduated from Bern University of the Arts (HKB) specialising in video and was awarded the Kiefer Hablitzel Award for Visual Arts. Since 2006 he is a student at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). Das merkwürdige Kätzchen is his debut feature film.
