Sinopsis
Returning to Guinea-Bissau from European exile, Baio accompanies his daughter to the village of Tabatô where she is to marry. As Baio returns to the old places he once knew, memories from the war of independence resurface. The film explores music, magic and postcolonial angst in a fragmented narrative in black, white and red, where the horrors of the past are very present.
