The Film Schools of the World section offers a series of seminars aimed at young creators, film students and industry professionals. These complementary education and training activities provide a thought-provoking space for meeting and debate open to everyone in a constantly changing age.

Tuesday 16 November
Film marketing and distribution: social networks. Director and screenwriter Carlos Pastor will present some key ideas on promoting and distributing films on the internet in general and social networks in particular, as well as new transfer systems in the market.

Wednesday 17 November
Film critics in the digital age: new formats. What is film criticism? How do critics write? How can we foster critical viewers? These are some of the questions this workshop aims to answer, centring on what we can read and write in the blogosphere.

Thursday 18 November
Trends in contemporary documentary: between film diaries and autobiographies. Debate and screening of clips of films from former students on the Master’s course that weave their way through the hazy lines between intimate life and family life.

From the collective to the individual: joining forces to carry out independent projects. Diezymedia will tell the ongoing story of how they embarked on their adventure as students and built a framework to support itself and whatever falls on it.

Digital and experimental arts exhibition: VJ session. Designed by students at the school, which gives over a space for training in digital and experimental audiovisual arts.
