L'Alternativa is held in six different venues around the city.
Barcelona Centre for Contemporary Culture (CCCB)
Montalegre, 5 (Metro L1 Universitat and L3 Catalunya)
The main festival venue screens the Official and Parallel Sections and the morning Film Schools sessions and is home to the Hall Screen and the Parallel Activities, as well as hosing the opening and closing parties.
Maldà Bollywood Cinema
Carrer del Pi, 5 (Metro L3 Liceu)
This cinema screens the Official and Parallel Sections.
FNAC El Triangle
Plaza Cataluña (Metro L1 and L3 Catalunya)
The auditorium screens part of the Film Schools and There's No Shortage of Shorts sections. Free entry.
French Institute
Moia, 8 (Metro L3 and L5 Diagonal; FGC Provença)
The auditorium will screen part of the Peter Brook section.
Casa América en Cataluña
Córcega, 299 (Metro L3 and L5 Diagonal; FGC Provença)
The auditorium will screen the Latin American Film Schools section, the CCC section and part of the section on Young Mexican Cinema and the Ukamau Group.
Casa Asia
Diagonal, 373 (Metro L3 and L5 Diagonal; FGC Provença)
