Sinopsis:

Based entirely on archive material and set in Finland around the time Elvis died, Always Decent is an experimental, autobiographical documentary about a child’s fear of difference, shame, guilt and longing. The film dips into the logic and dimensions of a child’s thoughts through warm humour and associative visual narrative.

 
Bio:

Katja Pällijeff studied film editing at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki. Always Decent is her MA graduation film and also her first film as director. She has worked extensively as an editor on documentary films.
