Sinopsis: In 632 the Chinese monk Xuanzang discovered the prodigious statues representing Buddha in the valley of Bâmiyân in Afghanistan. In 2008 children living in the valley tell the story of the tragic fate of these statues, which were destroyed by Taliban in 2001.
 
Bio:

Patrick Pleutin studied art at the École Supérieure Estienne in Paris. He has made several experimental and animation films including Pavanne de l'ange (2002), L'Hôtel du vent (1998) and Salut les filles (1991).
