Sinopsis:

A Working Mom reveals the extremes to which mothers will go to save their families - sometimes saving and losing them in the same act. In 1990, 22-year-old Marisa Villozial left her 3-year-old son and infant daughter with her parents in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and travelled to Israel to look for a job. In 2005, Marisa returned to Bolivia to rejoin her family, but finds her children, now 16 and 18, are apathetic towards her. The film reflects powerful and painful global themes: poverty, preservation of culture, alienation and people's place in the new global economy. This individual story is also the most universal story of our times.
