Music: Pierre-Laurent CassiereSinopsis: Through a series of animated photographs, this film takes us on a voyage through the destruction of a neighbourhood in Shanghai, where every year property developers are tearing down buildings and forcing hundreds of thousands of people to leave.
Bio: Zhenchen Liu (Shanghai, 1976) graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure at Villa Arson; and the Fresnoy in France. He has focused on the subjects of modernisation and urban development in China. His films include Shanghai, Shanghai (2006) and Eiffel Tour for You (2006).
