Using a combination of archive audio recordings, drama reconstruction, still photography and animation, a surreal and comic tale unfolds of a journey made by the director's father through Soviet Russia in the early 1970s, in a souped-up Ford Anglia called Supervan.
Bio:
Alice Nelson (Dublin, 1969) has a Master's Degree in Fine Art (painting) and another in Film. She makes documentary films for television (Channel 4), and directs and produces her own films, which include Vocation (2003).
