For the couple in Dad, love in later life is still passionate. Their son, though, now reaching middle age, has problems. Unlike his parents, he has no outlet for his sexual yearnings and while he hears his mother orgasm next door his own desires are far from fulfilled. Dad premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2007.
Bio:
Daniel Mulloy studied fine art at Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, and Hunter College, New York, under Robert Morris. His films Sister (2005) and the highly acclaimed Antonio’s Breakfast (2006) were both screened at past editions of l’Alternativa. He has won over forty International Awards since making his first short in 2001.
